For Semi-Automated and Manual Foamed Concrete Block Factories

The most cost effective way to make foamed concrete (CLC) blocks is to cast a large block of foamed concrete and then cut it into smaller blocks using a wire cutter. Foamed concrete blocks can be made in an automated block factory using a large wire cutter, or in semi-automated or manual block making factories. In a semi-automated block factory and in manual factories, the operation can be speeded up using the Junior Wire Cutting Machine. It is quicker and easier than using either a single, manual wire saw with a cutting guide or than using battery moulds which must have plates removed and coated with mould release agent.

The Junior Wire Cutting Machine consists of a small metal frame with an electrically operated cradle that moves vertically up and down. The cradle has six tensioned wires for cutting a large foamed concrete block into small blocks.

The EABASSOC Junior Wire Cutting Machine has six tensioned wires that cut simultaneously, taking approximately 10 - 20 seconds to cut through the large block. The size of the large foamed concrete block is 500/600(W) x 200(H) x 2400(L)mm. This large block can be cut into 24 foamed concrete blocks of 100x200x500/600mm. It is also possible to use longer moulds to make longer large blocks. The Junior Wire Cutting Machine has four wheels to move it along the length of the large block. When it is in position brakes stop it from moving around.

The cutting operation can be carried out electrically or manually if there is no electrical power on site. Raising the cutting wires is done manually. The cutting frame moves vertically on stainless steel shafts. Linear bearings on chrome plated shafts ensure the wires have a smooth cutting action which gives the foamed concrete an even surface.
